And in the blink of an eye...

This is called a "Thundercake". An incredible chocolate cake with
tomatos in it. It's a recipe from a children's book that Phoebe read
in school. It was very appropriate as San Diego was in the midst of a
downpour that day.Her sisters decorated it without ANY help.

Here is Phoebe and her friends with their new "friends".

The next day we went to see the "Tree Lighting" of The Old Globe's
Christmas Tree, with performances by the cast of "When The Grinch Stole

Phoebe and Chloe pose with the Suess Drum.

The Grinch lurked overhead.

Lots of folks turned out for this.

We wound up peeking around the corner.

But under the soapy snow that showered down from overhead.

There he is!!

Even with the crowds it was still a nice evening!

Some good news is that our series "The People That Melt in The Rain"
has been signed with Cloud Nine Publishing for distribution to iPad,
iPhone, Kindle, Nook, and other mobile platforms. Don't forget you can
still buy our book ... HERE!!

"People are willing to take these extraordinary chances to become writers, musicians, or painters, and because of them, we have a culture. If this ever stops, our culture will die, because most of our culture, in fact, has been created by people that got paid nothing for it--people like Edgar Allan Poe, Vincent Van Gogh or Mozart."-Kurt Vonnegut
